Jake M. Laine

Jake M. Laine obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Syracuse University in 2017. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2020. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

While at St. John’s Law, Jake earned the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Pre-Trial Advocacy. Jake has worked for Judge Colin F. O’Donnell in Nassau County District Court.

Jake prides himself in representing police officers injured in the line of duty. Jake possesses a great understanding of General Municipal Law § 205-e. At St. John’s Law School, his scholarly writing article was entitled “Protecting Those That Protect Us” that called for the legislature to amend current law to afford more protections to police officers injured in the line of duty.

Jake has handled numerous personal injury cases conducting depositions, negotiations, mediations and arbitrations zealously seeking justice for injured clients.

Jake enjoys working out, family time, and watching the New York Yankees.
