Griffin F. Laine
Griffin F. Laine obtained his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Syracuse University in 2021 and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2024. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
While at St. John’s law, Griffin was the recipient of the Esterina Giuliani Award, which is awarded to the student in his division who has achieved the highest cumulative grade point average.
Griffin comes from a law enforcement family and prides himself in representing police officers injured in the line of duty. He also has a strong interest in representing injured construction workers. Griffin possesses a great understanding of Labor Law section 240(1) and Labor Law section 241(6). At St. John’s Law School, his scholarly writing article entitled “Protecting Workers at Job Sites in New York: Has the Legislature Done Enough?” that called for the legislature to amend current law to afford more protections to construction workers injured while on the job.
Griffin has handled numerous personal injury cases and prepared cases throughout the entire litigation process in anticipation of trial.
Griffin enjoys playing chess, watching boxing matches on the weekends, and playing basketball and tennis.
